5 Short Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Text Examples
Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Example #1
Theme: The Greatness of Allah in the Isra’ Mi’raj Event
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Dear respected audience, blessed by Allah,
First, let us praise and give thanks to Allah SWT who has given us the blessing of faith, Islam, and health so that we can gather in this noble place to commemorate the Isra’ and Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Peace and blessings may always be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, companions, and all of his followers until the end of time.
Dear audience whom I respect,
Isra’ Mi’raj is a great and noble event that has never been experienced by previous prophets. Where Rasulullah SAW was taken by Allah at night from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa, and then raised to the sky up to Sidratul Muntaha. This event is not an ordinary journey, not just a historical story, but real evidence of the greatness of Allah SWT and the nobility of Rasulullah SAW.
As Allah says in Surah Al-Isra verse 1:
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا
Meaning: Glory be to Him who carried His servant by night from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa whose surroundings We have blessed…
This verse shows that nothing is impossible for Allah. Something that is impossible according to human logic can happen with the permission and power of Allah SWT.
Dear blessed audience,
From this event, we are taught not to limit Allah’s power only to the capacity of our minds. Faith is what makes us believe that whatever Allah decrees is true and full of wisdom. If Allah is able to take the Prophet in such a short time over a very long distance, then be sure that Allah is also able to complete every problem in our lives.
As a closing, let us make this Isra’ Mi’raj commemoration a momentum to strengthen our faith in Allah, love Rasulullah, and improve the quality of our worship.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Example #2
Theme: The Wisdom of Prayer from the Isra’ Mi’raj Event
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Dear audience,
Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah SWT who still gives us the chance to live until today. Peace and blessings may always be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW, the best role model for mankind.
Dear audience honored by Allah,
One of the greatest lessons from Isra’ Mi’raj is the establishment of the five daily prayers as an obligation for Muslims. The command of prayer did not come through an angel, but was given directly to Rasulullah SAW when he met Allah. This shows how special and important prayer is in our religion.
Rasulullah SAW said:
الصَّلَاةُ عِمَادُ الدِّينِ
Meaning: Prayer is the pillar of religion.
Without pillars, a building cannot stand strong. Likewise religion, without prayer a person’s faith becomes weak.
However, nowadays many people consider prayer a burden. Some delay it, some feel lazy, and some even abandon it. Whereas, if we realized, prayer is a form of Allah’s love for us. Through prayer, we can pour our hearts out to Allah, ask for help, complain about life’s problems, and draw closer to Him.
Allah says:
وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي
Meaning: Establish prayer for My remembrance.
Therefore, through the momentum of Isra’ Mi’raj, let us improve our prayers. Not just performing them, but also maintaining their quality: on time, with focus, and full awareness.
May we become servants who always maintain their prayers.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Example #3
Theme: The Firmness of Faith Like Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Dear respected audience,
Let us begin with praise to Allah SWT and peace and blessings upon Rasulullah SAW.
When Rasulullah SAW conveyed the story of Isra’ Mi’raj to the Quraisy people, many mocked, disbelieved, and denied him. They thought the story was impossible and illogical. However, Abu Bakar immediately accepted and believed the story without any doubt. That is why he received the title “Ash-Shiddiq”, meaning “the one who truly affirms”.
This is an important lesson for us. Faith is not only about logic, but complete belief in Allah and His Messenger.
Allah says:
وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ
Meaning: Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it.
In this modern era, many people question religious teachings just because they do not fit logic. Yet human intellect is limited, while Allah’s knowledge is unlimited. We must learn to submit and believe in Allah’s decrees and Rasulullah’s teachings.
May we be granted strong faith like Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Example #4
Theme: Isra’ Mi’raj as a Strengthener of Faith Amid Life’s Trials
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Dear audience blessed by Allah,
All praise belongs only to Allah SWT who still grants us health, opportunity, and the blessing of faith so that we can gather here to commemorate the great event of Isra’ Mi’raj. Peace and blessings may always be upon Rasulullah SAW, his family, companions, and all of us as his ummah until the end of time.
Dear audience whom I love for the sake of Allah,
We need to know that Isra’ Mi’raj did not happen when the Prophet was in a happy state. This event occurred after the Prophet experienced a year full of sorrow (Aamul Huzni), when his beloved wife Khadijah RA and his uncle Abu Talib passed away. At that time, Rasulullah faced heavy pressure, rejection of da’wah, and deep sadness.
And at that moment, Allah granted the greatest comfort in the form of the Isra’ Mi’raj journey. This shows that after sorrow, Allah always provides a path of honor and peace.
Allah says:
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
Meaning: Verily, with hardship comes ease.
Dear audience honored by Allah,
Our life journey is not much different. We often face problems in work, economy, family, health, or social life. But Isra’ Mi’raj teaches us to remain patient, keep trusting Allah, and never despair. The greater the test, the greater the reward Allah prepares for those who are patient.
Through this Isra’ Mi’raj moment, let us learn to be stronger in facing life’s trials. Believe that every tear is not in vain before Allah. As long as we maintain faith, prayer, and closeness to Him, Allah’s help will surely come at the best time.
That is all I can convey. May it be beneficial.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Isra’ Mi’raj Speech Example #5
Theme: Drawing Closer to Allah Through Worship
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Dear blessed audience,
Let us give thanks to Allah SWT for the blessing of faith and Islam so that we can be present in this gathering full of blessings. Peace and blessings may always be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW who has brought us from the era of darkness to the path of Islamic light.
Dear respected audience,
One of the important meanings of the Isra’ Mi’raj event is the closeness of Prophet Muhammad SAW to Allah SWT. He received a noble position and was able to communicate directly with Allah. This shows how special the relationship of a servant who always obeys his Lord truly is.
Rasulullah SAW said:
أَقْرَبُ مَا يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ
Meaning: The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is in prostration.
This means if we want to be close to Allah, then approach Him through worship, especially prayer. Do not only draw near when we need help, but make worship a habit and a need of the heart.
Dear audience honored by Allah,
In this modern life full of busyness, we often neglect worship. But Isra’ Mi’raj reminds us that closeness to Allah is the source of peace, strength, and blessings in life. The more we maintain our relationship with Allah, the more Allah will maintain our lives.
May through this Isra’ Mi’raj commemoration, we become servants who worship more diligently, pray more seriously, and become closer to Allah SWT.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
