Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,  

Dear brothers and sisters, may Allah’s blessings be upon us all. Alhamdulillah, we are truly grateful to Allah for His mercy and grace, allowing us to gather here today to perform the Eid prayer. We praise His name through takbir, tahmid, and tahlil, celebrating this joyful occasion after a month of fasting and devotion.  

May all our worship and good deeds throughout Ramadan be accepted and rewarded. Ameen, ya Rabbal ‘alamin. As narrated by Abu Hurairah (R.A.), the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and hopes for Allah’s reward, their past sins will be forgiven."

With this immense blessing, it is only right that we continue striving to strengthen our faith—following His commands and staying away from what He has forbidden.  

Dear congregation, Eid al-Fitr is often seen as a day of joy, marking the end of Ramadan. Some interpret it as a return to purity, a day when we are freed from sin. These meanings hold truth, but let us reflect on the deeper significance of fitrah as mentioned in the Quran.  

Allah commands us to turn towards the true religion, which aligns with our natural disposition (fitrah) to worship Him, as stated in Surah Ar-Rum (30:30). This verse reminds us that every human is born with an innate awareness of Allah’s existence. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr is not just a celebration—it is a moment to renew our connection with Him through prayer, charity, and continued acts of worship.  

For those who strive to maintain the same level of devotion after Ramadan, it may not be easy, but keep trying. Even if the intensity lessens, consistency is what matters. May Allah accept all our worship and guide us to remain steadfast in faith. Ameen, ya Rabbal ‘alamin.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,  

My dear brothers and sisters, let us begin by thanking Allah SWT for His countless blessings, especially the health and opportunity to gather here today for the Eid prayer. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, and may we always follow in his righteous footsteps.  

Fasting teaches us to be more compassionate, reminding us to care for those who are less fortunate. *Zakat-ul-Fitr* is one way we show that care, but it shouldn't stop there. Eid al-Fitr is not just a celebration marking the end of Ramadan—it is a fresh start, a chance to carry forward the good habits we've built throughout the holy month. While our sins may be forgiven by Allah, our responsibility to strengthen our relationships with others continues.  

Let’s make a sincere effort to continue practicing the kindness, patience, and devotion we've nurtured during Ramadan. True faith is not just about worship but also about embodying goodness in our daily lives. If we remain steadfast in our faith, inshaAllah, our Ramadan efforts will have a lasting impact.
